kindermusikby7notes - Karrinyup
Arlene enjoyed 4 years of Kindermusik classes with her daughter, from baby to toddler to pre-schooler age. She then trained and taught Kindermusik for two years before retiring to have a second child.
She has since re-trained to resume her role as a Kindermusik educator. Having attended other early childhood music programs before, Arlene truly believes Kindermusik offers the best, most effective early childhood music program out there. The classes are fun - the music beautifully crafted, ranging from folk songs to modern beats to African chants, with playful musical activities and dances like Irish jigs, Maypole dance and the Virginia Reel.
One thing's for sure - the classes are never boring for the children and adults alike!
Arlene has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, an AMEB Grade 7 level in Pianoforte and Level 4 Music Theory. She also sings for the choir, Mothersong, based in North Perth.
She feels privileged to be part of the Kindermusik family, and finds enormous joy spending time in a classroom full of children singing, playing and making music together!
